Warnings: Realism, what's that? Also, depictions of provinces are...partially inspired by Zacharias Topelius's Maamme kirja, which was published in 1875 and partially on my own personal stereotypes. I'm aware stereotypes =/= reality. I hope I don't cause too much insult to anyone, and am very sorry if I do. It certainly isn't my intention. *bow*

Title: Pick Me Up

Notes: Um...well, yesterday I dug up this REALLY old hetalia kink meme fill of mine and poked at it a little (as well as added another part). I realize now my characterization of Russia was kinda off. I tried to fix the worst of it yesterday.

This is still not anything I'm that excited about. This pairing is not really an OTP, merely something that happened in my headcanon, and that is important in terms of Finland's character development. That is, I rather believe his time with Russia stripped him of a rather a lot of naivety, in both good and bad. Not because Russia was OHMG EVIL~, simply because...well, it's Russia. But I guess I'll elaborate on that in further fics, if anything.
